“Male, Female: The Evolution of Human Sex Differences (Third Edition)” has just been released and I’m excited to be reading it. So far, reading the introductory chapters, I have found it a great refresher on the evolution of sex, deepening my understanding of the area.
The book comes highly recommended. I enjoyed Marco Del Giudice’s interview with Ricardo Lopes, they did a great job of introducing the study of human sex differences in psychology from a biological, evolutionary perspective. Del Giudice spoke highly of this book in the interview which is what first got me interested in it. I think it is the most thorough introduction to the subject area available. It doesn’t really require any previous knowledge of the field or related fields.
